The Central Market part 2

Central Market Central Market Central Market Central Market Central Market Central Market Central Market Central Market Benita at work. Benita, a lovely woman. We met our very first morning when I proudly asked for 2 cups of cappuccino in my best practiced Italian. She laughed in my face which totally took the wind from my sails. We have been fast friends since. The first time we were in Florence we visited her shop 3 times for coffee and conversation. A year later when we returned, we did not expect her to remember us, but she instantly came out from behind her counter to give us big hugs and kisses. She speaks no English and like to tease that I speak "un poco poco" Italiano yet we communicate very well. Photos of Benita as a young woman, she was lovely.

The Central Market in Florence is a great way to kick off a busy morning in the city. It is a sight,sound,smell sensory blast that never fails to invigorate a person. I highly recommend it.
